Dalya Tabari – Director

Dalya completed high school in Washington DC and in 1994 graduated the youngest in her program with an MBA at age 21 from Imperial College, University of London and a BA Hons in Media & Communication from Goldsmiths College, University of London.

Dalya started her career in Dubai in 1994 as a young Advertising Account Executive at Bates-141/Saatchi & Saatchi as part of the international client service team for Johnson & Johnson and British American Tobacco (BAT).

Identified as a rising star in the Bates-141 network, Dalya was recruited by the London office to help manage and develop global marketing strategies for BAT and by 1999 she was posted as the VP Director of Marketing in their New York Office, heading the global account for Lucky Strike.

After 10 years of working with Bates-141, Dalya changed her career path in 2003 and returned to Dubai to join and help manage IDS (one of the top 5 leading Pharmaceutical distribution firms in the UAE) with a current turnover over USD 100 million per year.

As a Director of IDS, Dalya not only launched the consumer healthcare department but also helped develop, manage and implement the corporate governance structure for the business enabling it to sustain its consistent growth at 5% higher than the market growth and protect its long-term vision & sustainability set by the Board.
